It was learned that the suspect (a 16-year-old male) was believed to have discharged the firearm and that he had fled the scene prior to officer’s arrival. SAPD’s Criminal Investigations and Crime Scene Division were requested on scene to assist. The SAFD transported the female to Shannon Medical Center where she was later pronounced as deceased. Officers arrived on scene and located an unconscious 17-year-old female who had an apparent gunshot wound on her back. The San Angelo Police Department was dispatched to a residence in the 1300blk of Paisano Place in reference to a shooting victim. San Angelo, TX (August 3, 2023, 8:13pm): A 17-year-old female is deceased after a shooting that took place yesterday evening at a residence in the Northeast side of San Angelo.
